From the Pastor
I want to thank everyone who welcomed the group from Maine, who came for the March for Life. Last weekend, we had 20+ teens, young adults, and their chaperones staying at the parish. Our volunteers provided them breakfast and snacks while they were here and gave them lunches for the day of the March for Life. The people of St. Philip the Apostle have been opening their doors to this group for many years. This year’s group was a little smaller, but our hospitality remains strong. (The organizers in Maine have changed. Now there are more adults who come down at stay at our neighboring hotels. We provide a free option for the youth). I want to personally thank the Rose and Hay Families, Lynda Bohannon and the rest of the volunteers who worked long hours to provide for our visitors. Thank you very much.
