YOUTH MINISTRY promotes all-around activities for teen age youth of the Parish basically in grades 8 - 12. This includes Apostolic service (gifts for the Forestville Pregnancy Center, other support groups); Social events (camping, parties. dances); Spiritual development (retreats, living stations, March for Life); and Educational events (sharing, discussion, Catholic understandings). The students participate in what is known as "TIHI" or "Teens in His Image."
YOUTH NEWS by Emily Rose.Saturday, August 13th, TIHI will be driving up to Hershey Park for the day. If any teens and their families are interested in coming, please let me know through TIHI email (stphiliptihi@comcast.net) or my cell phone (540-660-2278). I will need parents to help drive and chaperone. Emily Rose __________________________________________________________________________________________________ ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
The Athletic Association promotes the athletic and spiritual development of youth in the church and school by offering active involvement in fall and spring sports. Participants are taught how to play as well as to do so with good, Christian sportsmanship. There are organized CYO basketball, cross-country track, and soccer in the fall. Softball, T-ball, baseball, track and field, and soccer are available in the spring for boys and girls.ATHLETIC NEWS.Looking to the NFL season opening this fall, raffle tickets for the Redskins home games are now available for only $10.00.
